Le titre européen s'est joué à Wackersdorf. Riley manquait de rythme lors des essais sur le sec. Puis la pluie est arrivée en qualifications et il a décroché la pole avec environ quatre dixièmes d'avance. De retour sur le sec, il a remporté toutes les manches puis la finale.

Une équipe usine l'a choisi.

Sodi a choisi Riley pour son équipe usine au FIA World Karting Championship 2024, en OK Junior. Il n'avait encore jamais couru dans cette catégorie. Il s'est qualifié troisième de son groupe et a pris le départ de la finale en huitième position parmi plus de cent pilotes.

Ginetta Junior

Première course automobile. Première victoire.

Riley a remporté sa toute première course automobile en novembre 2025. Pour sa première saison complète, il a été le pilote le plus rapide en qualifications et celui qui a marqué le plus de points durant la seconde moitié de saison, concluant par une victoire depuis la dixième place sur la grille à Brands Hatch.

Son histoire

It started with a rope in a car park.

Riley a reçu son premier kart juste avant ses quatre ans. Son père a attaché une corde au pare-chocs et a couru derrière lui dans un parking. À quatre ans, il a disputé sa première course : dernier sur la grille, dernier à l'arrivée, mais souriant pendant tout le trajet du retour. À cinq ans, il gagnait. Toujours le plus grand de sa catégorie, dans un sport où la taille coûte du temps au tour, il n'a jamais cessé de gagner.

Le travail

Personne ne travaille plus dur sur la grille.

Le talent a mené Riley aux avant-postes. Le travail l'y maintient. Chaque séance est analysée dans les données, chaque circuit est appris sur simulateur avant son arrivée, et son entraînement est planifié comme celui d'un professionnel. Il mène ce programme en parallèle de l'école et trouve encore le temps d'accompagner de jeunes pilotes de karting.

  • Pace in the wet, including pole by four tenths on the weekend that decided a European title.
